After I slept until 12 today and drank just about all of the tea in the house to sooth my throat and lower my fever, I pulled out the tablet I never actually use. I figured "eh, why not? Maybe painting will make me feel better."

So, four hours, a 101 degree fever, and enough tea to fill the Sears Tower later I ended up with this. I probably could have done it faster if I wasn't sipping tea every 30 seconds and making more.

My first actually completed work with a tablet. Whoo! The entire thing was painted by hand, the only filter I used was
a Gaussian blur and a lens flare for the core of the supernova.

This goes under #43 (Dying) for the 100 picture challenge. (It's a Supernova, get it? Dying star.)
